HR Consultant - Interim

Dec 2018 - August 2018 London, UK

2017

I worked with a couple of SMEs to help them establish in new European markets, this included supporting recruitment, set up a new HR infrastructure and build outsourcing capacity to enable business flexibility.

GVP, Global Reward and Talent - Travelport (February 2014 - October 2017)

VP and GVP, Human Resources (November 2006 - January 2014)

Travelport Worldwide Ltd provides distribution, technology, payment solutions for the travel and tourism industry. Travelport employed 4,000 employees across 45 different countries with large presence in Europe and US.

At Travelport, I led multiple teams—Performance & Engagement, Talent Development, Executive Compensation, Global Reward, HR Partners to Central Functions, HRIS, and Global Sourcing—with the goal of empowering employees to foster growth and innovation during significant organisational changes.

During my tenure, I spearheaded several pivotal initiatives, including:

  • Collaborating with the Board to implement a progressive governance structure for Executive Committee meetings and introducing new executive compensation programs in preparation for the IPO.
  • Overhauling our HR systems to reduce manual administrative tasks and successfully bringing the Talent Acquisition Team in-house, resulting in increased productivity.
  • Launching a comprehensive Diversity and Inclusion Strategy along with related initiatives.
  • Introducing a new employee survey and establishing an HR analytics team to provide crucial insights for informed decision-making within the business.

Before this corporate role, I partnered closely with the Global Commercial, Product, and Marketing teams, which comprised roughly 1,500 employees located in offices spanning 45 countries. I supported them through a multitude of high-impact activities, including mergers, acquisitions, major organisational transformations, restructurings, and global integration initiatives. In my capacity, I offered both hands-on operational guidance and strategic leadership to facilitate the swift expansion of the business into emerging growth markets.

Senior HR Manager - AMC Networks

May 2000 – August 2002 London UK

I was brought on board to join the project team responsible for developing two high-quality sports channels, one in Hungary and one in the Czech Republic. During the initial phase of my involvement, which spanned the first five months, I dedicated the majority of my time to these locations. Within that short timeframe, we successfully recruited 56 individuals for each location, and the channels were launched according to the planned schedule.

In 2001, when UPC acquired Chello Broadband, I played a pivotal role in supporting the integration efforts between these two start-up companies. I provided HR leadership to the newly formed divisions under the banner of UPC/Chello
